# The Armor Outfit: three-occasion field protocol

This is private self-observation, not medical assessment. Do not use it to diagnose anxiety, sensory processing, trauma or any other condition.

## Before each occasion

- Occasion, date and room:
- Outfit and shoes:
- Why this outfit today:
- What I predict will change: body / meaning / attention / my behavior / other people / preparation time
- Body conditions before dressing: pain, temperature, fatigue, sensory load, mobility needs

## Immediately after dressing

- Pressure, temperature and texture I notice:
- Movement made easier or harder:
- Thoughts or memories the outfit brings forward:
- What the mirror changes, if anything:
- Any cost I am already tolerating:

## After the occasion

- What I actually did:
- What other people visibly did (separate observation from interpretation):
- What felt different:
- What did not change:
- Physical or social cost:
- One alternative explanation:

## After three occasions

Look for repetition, not a score. Which pathway recurs? Which expectation failed? Would a different garment, a preparation ritual without the garment, or a more accessible version preserve the benefit at lower cost?

If inviting audience submissions, obtain explicit, revocable consent; provide anonymous and private-participation options; never publish health disclosures by default.
